Much of Chapter 7 involves the four characters pictured above, standing together on one of the HMS Blue Typhoon's open decks: Sonic, Tails, Sally, and Nicole-Typhoon. The chapter affirms their friendship and commitment to each other, despite the changes in their lives, but at the same time it points to potentially troublesome areas that remain, unresolved...

Missing from the picture, but playing into the title, Chapter 7 also sees the summoning of Mephiles and the truth about Iblis' origin.
