Read cycle of ages. I was amazed at the amount of depth you put into it! Love the story, the ending, the bittersweet last bite of it. You put amazing effort into it, I mean every detail, the science/theories and mechanics, character development, and the dialogue blew me away! Absolutely astounding.

Wonderful writing and I hope to read more.

Thanks! When I redid COA:ACO, it was initially supposed to be just a small retouching, but it ended up being almost a total rewrite. The end result is something I'm actually happy with, which I rarely am, as it touches on everything that I felt it needed to. At least it means I won't have to rewrite it again! haha. Just the sequel, NWO.

I am sort of the type who enjoys happy endings but the way you handled the story and the situations of the characters you included in it all the way down to the finale really fit. I was inspired by you extremely and I wanted to ask. The idea " of -Chaos force/ universal reserve?- what sparked that mostly?

I mean I have contemplated using that idea in a fan-comic I wanted to write/draw but the explanations behind it were already hard to sit down and think about. I spent a few days trying to figure out ways to explain it that would make sense but I always ran into a wall or obstacle that held me up and I almost considered abandoning it all together,

wow, this was sent back in October... but then the hurricane put everything of mine on hold for two weeks...
anyway:

The "Chaos Force" as a "repository of souls" or universal energy reserve was an idea that really manifested in my writing COA:NWO. I honestly can't say where it came from, since it was so many years ago, except that I had been looking into many ways to refine and tie together the cyclical "destroyer" (Chosen One) angle. What prompted the Chaos Force to manifest a Chosen One in the story at fairly regular intervals? Why was this a process that seemingly couldn't be stopped, given that it tended to cause so much destruction? Where did the Chaos Emerald sets come from and how? Merlin's interference was part of it, but more a symptom than a cause. There was some earlier stuff in the comics and games (notably Tikal) where the dead could exist with Chaos, so I probably just ran with that.

Once I had that in mind, and saw how it could be used in NWO, it fit in so well that I expanded on it when I redid ACO.
